Will my balloon float?
It depends on how much of it is printed. Ink adds weight, and a photo printed edge to edge may keep the balloon from rising on helium. If floating matters, ask us for reduced coverage in your order notes — we'll scale the photo and leave clear balloon around it so it floats normally. If you're displaying it on a stand, stick, or weight, full coverage looks best and float doesn't matter.
Can you remove the background from my photo?
Yes, and it's included. Our designers handle background removal, cropping, brightening, straightening, and combining images. Just describe what you want in the order notes and we'll take care of it before printing — at no extra cost and without delaying your order.
What if my photo isn't great quality?
Email it to us before you order and we'll tell you honestly whether it will print well. If you've already ordered and our designers spot a real problem — too dark, too low-resolution, too small in the frame — we'll email you before printing rather than sending something you won't like.
Do I have to use a photo?
No. You can do text only — names, a date, a message — in any color and font. Photo, text, colors, or any combination. It's entirely up to you.
Do I get to see it before it prints?
Yes — right on this page. The designer shows a live preview of your balloon as you build it, and that preview is exactly what we print. There's no separate proof email to wait for, which is how we ship in 1–2 business days instead of one to two weeks. Review it carefully before you check out.
How fast will I get it?
We print and ship within 1–2 business days of your order. No proof approval, no back-and-forth — you design it, we print it. Transit time on top of that depends on your shipping choice at checkout.
Can I change my order after I place it?
Email us immediately at [support@yourdomain.com] with your order number. We move to print quickly, so we can only make changes if it hasn't gone into production yet. The sooner you write, the better the chance we catch it.
Can I return it or get a refund?
Custom balloons are final sale — they're printed with your photo and can't be resold. The designer on this page shows exactly what gets printed, so please review it before checking out. If we made a mistake, or the balloon arrives damaged, we'll reprint or refund it.
How does it arrive?
Flat and uninflated, with your image already printed. Inflate it with helium at any party store, or with air for a table or wall display.
Is helium included?
No. Balloons ship uninflated. Most party stores and florists will inflate a balloon you bring in, usually for a small fee.
How long will it last?
Flat and unopened, roughly 4 weeks before you inflate it. Once inflated with helium, expect a few days; air-filled balloons hold much longer and are the better choice if you want it up for a week or more.
What sizes and colors are there?
18" and 24", in heart, round, or star, across 23 matte chrome balloon colors. Pick the balloon color first — it's the background your photo sits on, so a lighter balloon generally shows a photo better than a dark one.
Can I order a bunch of them?
Yes — set the quantity at checkout, no minimum and no maximum. If you're doing a large event or need multiple different photos across a set, email us first at [support@yourdomain.com] and we'll set it up properly rather than having you place ten separate orders.
How do I get my photo to you?
Upload it right on this page in the designer. If the file is too large or won't upload, email it to hello@partydepot.com with your order number and we'll drop it in for you.
