About this item

Description

Wedding balloons printed with the couple's initials, in five monogram designs made for the moment you'll photograph most. Choose your artwork, enter two initials, and it's printed to order.

The five designs

Each is a heart shaped balloon in white foil, printed edge to edge. The balloon design for your wedding should follow the room, so here's what each one suits.

  • Orchid — a fine gold heart outline with white orchid sprays. The most modern of the five, and the one that suits a minimal or contemporary venue.
  • Wildflower — green and blush watercolour florals in a full heart wreath. Softest and most romantic; pairs with garden, spring, and outdoor settings.
  • Pearl & Bow — a gold pearl border finished with a bow and pearl drop. The most formal option, and the one that reads as classic bridal.
  • Gold Wreath — a complete gold line-art wreath with cream roses. Symmetrical, which makes it the safest choice for a centred backdrop shot.
  • Rose Vine — cream roses climbing an open gold heart. Asymmetric, so it works off-centre or as one element in a larger arrangement.

18 inch or 24 inch

18 inch is the table size. It works in a bouquet with smaller balloons, as a centrepiece, tied to a chair back, or clustered in threes. At arm's length the initials read clearly; from across a room they read as decoration rather than a message.

24 inch is the photograph size. Behind the sweetheart table, at the entrance, or anywhere the shot is taken from more than a few feet back, the larger foil balloon is the one that still says something in the frame. It's also the one to pick if you're using more than two characters — a big heart balloon gives the artwork room, and "Mr and Mrs" or a name plus a date sits cramped at 18 inch.

Short version: choosing between them is mostly about viewing distance. Close up and in numbers, take the 18. Single and in photos, take the 24.

Where it goes on the day

Behind the sweetheart table. The most common placement, and the reason to pick a symmetrical design — it sits centred behind the couple in every reception photo taken from the floor.

At the entrance. Balloons in weddings work as signage without an easel. Guests read the initials on the way in and know they're in the right place.

In the getting-ready room. Bridal balloons in the morning photos, before anything else is set up, when the light is best and the room is otherwise plain.

The send-off. Held rather than hung, in the last photos of the night.

Not just the wedding day

The same design works for the engagement party, the bridal shower, and the bachelorette — anywhere the two initials mean something. A marriage proposal balloon with both initials already together is the detail people notice in the photos afterwards.

Because it's a marriage balloon rather than a dated one, nothing on it locks it to a single event. Add the year in the date field and it becomes an anniversary piece for later.

Choosing your monogram

Two initials is standard — first names, or both surnames. If you'd rather have "Mr and Mrs" or "Just Married" than initials, enter that in the personalization field and we'll set it in the same typeface. Bride and groom balloons with full first names work too, though longer text sits smaller inside the heart.

Two to three characters per side reads best from across a room. If you're unsure how a longer name will look, message us before ordering.

Please check your spelling before you order. Because each balloon is printed to your text, we make exactly what you enter — see Shipping & Returns below.

Production time

Every balloon is printed after you order, so allow [X] business days to make plus shipping time. For a wedding, order at least two weeks ahead. If your date is sooner than that, message us before ordering and we'll tell you honestly whether we can make it.

Shipping

Balloons ship flat and uninflated in a protective mailer. Free shipping on orders over $50.

Returns on personalized items

Because this balloon is printed with your text, it can't be resold or restocked, so personalized items are not returnable and cannot be exchanged for a change of mind. Please check your spelling before you order.

When we will replace it

Not returnable is not the same as not our problem. We will remake and reship at no cost if:

  • The printing doesn't match what you entered — our typo, our error
  • The balloon arrives damaged, torn, or won't hold air
  • The wrong design or size was sent
  • The print is defective — misaligned, smudged, or incomplete

Message us within 7 days of delivery with a photo and we'll sort it. No need to send anything back.

Cancellations

You can cancel for a full refund any time before we start printing. Once it's printed with your initials we can't undo it. If you need to change the spelling, message us immediately — if we haven't printed yet, we'll change it.

How do I send my initials? Enter them in the fields on this page before adding to cart. Nothing to email.

Do I get a proof before it prints? Yes

What if I spell it wrong? Message us straight away. If we haven't printed yet we'll fix it for free. Once printed we can't change it, which is why we ask you to check before ordering.

Air or helium? Both work. Air-filled holds its shape for days and sits flat against a wall or backdrop, which is what most people want for photos. Helium if you want it floating on ribbon.

How long does it stay inflated? Air-filled, several days indoors. Helium, roughly 3–5 days depending on temperature. Cold rooms make foil look under-inflated; it re-expands as it warms.

Will the print peel or crack? The design is printed onto the foil and flexes with it, so normal inflation and handling won't lift it.

Can I reuse it? Yes. Deflate through the valve and store flat rather than folded — a crease across the artwork will show.

Can I have more than two initials, or a date? Yes. Use the optional date field, and message us for longer text. Anything beyond three characters per side we'd recommend at 24 inch.

Do you ship in time for a wedding? 1-2 business days to make plus shipping. Order two weeks out to be safe, and message us first if your date is tighter.

Is there a matching set? Yes — the same five designs are available on our cups, so the balloon and the table match.
