Working to a reveal date

Put the date in your order notes. If the timeline is tight we will tell you before you pay for rush shipping, not after. For a reveal with travelling family, ordering two weeks out gives you room to add more once the guest list settles.

Methods and cost are calculated at checkout from your address. Balloons ship flat and uninflated in protective packaging.

Returns and refunds

These are printed with your family name and cannot be resold, so all personalized orders are final sale. Please check the spelling in the preview carefully before ordering.

If we made a mistake

If your balloons arrive damaged, or what we printed does not match what you entered, email hello@partydepot.com within 7 days of delivery with photos and we will reprint or refund.

Please do not release these outdoors

These are foil balloons. Foil does not biodegrade and metallic balloons can short out power lines. Intentional balloon release is illegal in Florida, Hawaii, Delaware, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Tennessee, and Virginia. Weight them instead and they survive the day, the photographs, and the shower afterward.

Does the design give away the sex?

No. It carries pink and blue together and the wording is the nursery rhyme, so there is nothing on it that hints either way. You can hang it before the reveal without spoiling anything, which is not true of most gender reveal decorations.

Can I still use them after the reveal?

Yes, and most people do. Nothing on the design is boy or girl specific, so they carry straight through to the baby shower. The Twinkle Twinkle Little Star theme also works for a nursery or a first birthday.

What goes on the bottom line?

Your family name — Baby Smith, The Riveras, Baby Nguyen. If you would rather have something else, type it in: both your names, the due date, or Baby #2.

How quickly can I get them?

We print and ship within 1 to 2 business days. Transit time depends on the method you choose at checkout. Put the reveal date in your order notes and we will tell you honestly whether we can make it before you pay for rush shipping.

How many should I order?

Three to five reads well behind a table or along a backdrop without crowding the photographs. One works fine if you just want it in frame for the announcement shot. There is no minimum, so order to the space you have.

Can I use them outdoors?

Yes, but weight everything properly. Never release them — foil balloons do not biodegrade and releasing them is illegal in several states.

Is helium included?

No, they ship flat and uninflated. Most party stores and florists will inflate a balloon you bring in for a small fee. For a backdrop or photo wall, air on sticks or stands often looks better and lasts far longer.

Can I set up the night before?

Yes, if you inflate with air rather than helium. Air-filled they hold their shape for weeks. Helium-filled should be done the same day.

Can I return them?

They are printed with your family name, so they cannot be resold and are final sale. If we made a mistake or they arrive damaged, we will reprint or refund.
