Inflation and use

• Float time: roughly 3–5 days on helium; air-filled holds shape for several weeks
• Outdoors: weight everything properly, and never release foil balloons

Production time

Printed and shipped within 1–2 business days. Proposals come with a date attached, and we treat them that way.

Packaging

These ship flat in a plain envelope. Nothing about the contents appears on the outside, and there is nothing balloon-shaped about the parcel.

Working to a date

Put the date of the proposal in your order notes. If the timeline is tight we will tell you before you pay for rush shipping, not after. If it is very close, email hello@partydepot.com before ordering and we will tell you honestly what is possible.

Methods and cost are calculated at checkout from your address. Balloons ship flat and uninflated in a plain envelope.

Returns and refunds

These are printed with a name and cannot be resold, so all personalized orders are final sale. Please check the spelling and wording in the preview carefully before ordering.

If we made a mistake

If your balloons arrive damaged, or what we printed does not match what you entered, email hello@partydepot.com within 7 days of delivery with photos and we will reprint or refund. If an error on our end meant they did not arrive in time, tell us and we will make it right.

Please do not release these outdoors

These are foil balloons. Foil does not biodegrade and metallic balloons can short out power lines. Intentional balloon release is illegal in Florida, Hawaii, Delaware, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Tennessee, and Virginia. For an outdoor proposal, weight them properly instead — and they survive to be photographed and kept.

Will the packaging give it away?

No. These ship flat in a plain envelope with nothing about the contents on the outside, and nothing balloon-shaped about the parcel itself.

How quickly can I get them?

We print and ship within 1 to 2 business days. Transit time depends on the method you pick at checkout. Put the proposal date in your order notes and we will tell you honestly whether we can make it before you pay for rush shipping.

Can I change the Will You Marry Me line?

Yes. Marry Me, Say Yes, Forever?, or something only the two of you would understand. Some people use the date they met. Type it in and we will set it.

How many should I order?

One is enough if you want a single balloon in the frame. For a room, five to seven along a wall or a path reads as intentional without crowding the photographs. There is no minimum, so order what suits the space you have.

Which design should I pick?

The Ring is the most direct and photographs best on its own. Pearl and Bow, Golden Rose, and White Orchid are quieter and work better in a group or as part of a larger setup. If you are unsure, The Ring is the safe choice.

Can I set up the night before?

Yes, if you inflate them with air rather than helium. Air-filled they hold their shape for weeks, so you can build the room the night before instead of racing the clock on the day. Helium-filled ones should be inflated the same day.

Is helium included?

No, they ship flat and uninflated. Most party stores and florists will inflate a balloon you bring in for a small fee. For an indoor setup, air on sticks or stands often looks better anyway and lasts far longer.

Can I use them outdoors?

Yes, but weight everything properly. Wind has ruined more proposals than nerves have. Never release them — foil balloons do not biodegrade and releasing them is illegal in several states.

What if I need to change the spelling after ordering?

Email hello@partydepot.com immediately with your order number. We move to print quickly, so we can only fix it if it has not gone into production yet. Please check the spelling twice before you order, because there is rarely time to reprint.

Can I order more than one design?

Each order covers one design. For a mix, place separate orders or email hello@partydepot.com and we will set it up as one order for you.

Can I return them?

They are printed with a name, so they cannot be resold and are final sale. If we made a mistake or they arrive damaged, we will reprint or refund.

She said yes. Can I get something for the engagement party?

Yes. The same four designs work for an engagement party or a shower with different wording — She Said Yes, or both your names and the date. Email hello@partydepot.com and we will set it up.
